Kevin Stafford provides a variety of consultation services to professionals, which include courtesy consultations (no fee), Paid Consultation (which may be one time or on going), AAMFT approved clinical supervision.

·        Courtesy consultation:  Courtesy Consultations are brief consultations provided free of charge. These consultations generally occur via phone.  As professionals dealing with Mental Health concerns and Relational Issues we may from time to time need some quick help, information, or validation. Courtesy consultations are intended to do this and support professionals in their on going work with clients and patients.  Have a quick question, or need some direction to get you or help keep you on track? Call for a Courtesy Consultation.

·        Paid Consultation: Paid Consultation’s generally come in tow forms, one time consultation and on going consultations. Paid Consultations are intended for professionals who wish to have a more in depth discussion about an issue, theme, or topic relevant to their clinical work, or about a specific clinical situation. Paid Consultations can take place in office, on site or over the phone. A fee is determined based on how long and where the consultation takes place.

·        AAMFT Approved Supervision: Supervision of on going clinical work is available to anyone practicing individual, couple, family or group therapy, provided the clinician is a member of a recognized psychotherapy organization (eg: College of Social Workers, AAMFT, CPA, OACCPP etc).  Supervision is also provided for clinicians who require an AAMFT Approved supervisor to complete the requirements for Clinical Memberships in AAMFT.

Please note that in all forms of consultation protecting the confidentiality and privacy of clients/patients is fundamental.  Any professional seeking to consult about a specific person is required to seek out that persons consent for consultation and this consent should be obtained in writing.  Consultations that do not meet this requirement must be presented as hypothetical situations, and in a manner that protects a person’s identity and maintains their anonymity.
